As part of our continuing ambition to present comprehensive, innovative classical theatre with a focus on the clarity of storytelling, we now offer an education and outreach programme dedicated to offering your school a variety of workshop packages tailored to the literature that you are studying or performing.

Our team of experienced workshop leaders will visit your school and work with you and your students, conducting a practical and enjoyable workshop devoted to enhancing your understanding and enjoyment of the classical text.

These workshops embrace most curricula for Key Stage 1-3, GCSE, A-Level, adult learners and Special Educational Needs classes, as well as offering fresh and inventive guidance to extra-curricular groups who may be performing a classical text for their school or drama society.

We are specialists in teaching the works of Shakespeare and his Elizabethan and Jacobean contemporaries but we also offer workshops covering a wide range of genres including Greek and Roman Tragedy, Medieval Drama, Mysteries, Restoration Comedy, Moliere, 'Sturm und Drang', Chekhov, Ibsen and Wilde.

All of our workshops are specifically moulded to your class and are presented in an accessible and down-to-earth format by our friendly and fully CRB-checked teaching team. We aim to reinforce and correspond with the work you have already done whilst approaching the text with a fresh and creative angle. Our workshops are available in three different packages:

A 2-hour intensive workshop tailored to the text you are studying.

A day-long introduction to Shakespeare including focus on text analysis, role-plays, exam questions and performance technique.

Consists of a group ticket to a Faction show and a subsequent 2-hour workshop on the same play.

Prices are dependent on the size of the group. Workshops can be tailored to fit all locations, time frames, and levels of ability.
