The Faction's ensemble has a reputation for playfulness, exploration and quality.
We approach each project with 100 ideas and no decisions, shaking off preconceptions to present bold, exciting and innovative performances as if our audiences are experiencing the plays for the first time.
Our trademarks include a stripped back aesthetic, combining an inventive ensemble physicality with a rigorous interrogation of text, bridging the gap between the classic repertoire and new writing.
Our work has many different forms. Whether groundbreaking international projects, three-play repertory seasons, outdoor performances for local communities, staged readings with guest artists including Tom Burke and Celia Imrie, or digital performances including Simon Russell Beale, the ensemble remains at the heart of everything we do.
